In our dedication to achieving coexistence between people and elephants in Sabah, our programs and projects are executed at the landscape level based on the Sabah State Bornean Elephant Action Plan 2020-2029 recommendations.

Seratu Aatai supports the implementation of four major objectives of the action plan:

 

(1) Improve protection and reduce elephant deaths

(2) Improve landscape connectivity and permeability

(3) Ensure the best ex-situ practices for elephant management and conservation

(4) Monitor and predict elephant population trends
